#ONEDOLLARMAKESCHANGE
Our current culture revolves around online community, leaving less time to engage with local surrounding as well as others within our traditional community. This project presents the opportunity for individuals to make a positive impact on others in their physical community by allowing them to be a recipient of their random act of kindness (RAOK).
RAOK are essential to the fostering of brotherhood within our future community. As part of this internationally recognized campaign, #onedollarmakeschange released marked bills within a community setting, encouraging recipients to visit Twitter as well the campaign website. Both @onelove4change and onedollarmakeschange.org ask that individuals “pay-it-forward” or use the found money to be kind to someone else. The website also allows the opportunity to post how individuals chose to spend the money, location received (where found), serial number for tracking purposes, date received, etc.
